Applicant must be 21 years of age or older unless you are active duty military and are between the ages of 18 and 21. If so, you must present your military ID , your certificate that shows you completed basic training, and a copy of your orders showing you are stationed at Fort Stewart.
The weapons carry license is valid for 5 years, unless revoked by court order.
As a convenience to the customer, you may complete the preliminary Application for Weapons Carry License Form (PDF) and submit the completed form. Form must be downloaded in Adobe Acrobat to submit electronically.

You must be fingerprinted within 5 days of applying. Failure to do so will require you to re-apply and pay the application fee of $83.00 again.
